दशहरा भारत का एक महत्वपूर्ण त्यौहार है, इस दिन पुरुषोत्तम मर्यादा भगवान श्री राम ने रावण का वध किया था और माता सीता को उसकी कैद से आजाद करवाया था. दशहरा पूरे देश में बड़े ही धूम धाम से मनाया जाता है साथ ही अन्य देशों में भी दशहरा मनाया जाता है.

दशहरा को विजयादशमी भी कहते हैं और इस दिन भगवान श्री राम ने रावण का वध कर सीता माता को रावण की कैद से छुड़ाया था और विभीषण को लंका का राजा बनाया. दशहरा हमारे देश का महत्वपूर्ण त्यौहार है और इसे भारत के अलावा भी अन्य देशों में मनाया जाता है. दशहरा को विजयादशमी के भी नाम से जाना जाता है.
